My Thoughts

Talk about a whirlwind relationship! This book was really fast paced and after getting over the hiccup of Lauren’s lie of omission, this relationship went from secret lovers to “old married couple” very quickly.

I enjoyed the author’s writing style but I wanted more depth; there was a slickness to writing that made it difficult to connect with the story at times. Every hesitation and problem was dealt with so fast. The final stages of the book were excellent and I wish we got to see more of this emotion over the entire book.

As the only remaining single member of the group, Gavin was somewhat of a dark horse. I am interesting in reading his story which is due later in 2018.
