About TRIGGER

I was raised by the Devil himself.
Formed into a man that was unreachable.
I went from the boy with bruises
to the man with a trigger.
Killing is the only thing the calms the itch.
The demons inside were a constant battle.
…until she changed everything.
When you spend most of your time
in the dark, is it smart to step into the light?
“Too strong to run, too proud to hide, for this I’ll pay, for this I’ll die.”

My Thoughts

Brought up by a hard, uncompromising man, Trigger has grown into a merciless and unforgiving man. As president of the Devil’s Reach MC, he rules with an iron fist and has no qualms with getting physical to make his point.

Trigger is not the typical book I read but once in a while I do enjoy reading a dark, gritty MC Club novel and this book brings these characteristics in spades. There is plenty of graphic violence, random and rough sex, and drug usage.

Tess’ arrival into Trigger’s world exposes a chink in his armour as he comes face to face with a woman that may end up being the perfect person for him; something that he has never considered before.

I thought the plot was well developed and the book’s cliff hanger left me wanting to read more. Trigger is never ever going to make it to my book boyfriend list but credit to the author that she has written a compelling story that had me turning the pages until the end.

An avid reader of James Patterson, J.L. Drake has often found herself inspired by his many stories of mystery and intrigue. She hopes you will enjoy her stories as much as she has enjoyed writing them.
