My Thoughts
Silver Biker is the fourth and final book in L.B. Dunbar’s
Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series. I’ve enjoyed every book in this series, and
they have all tugged at my emotions but this one was something else altogether.
Have those tissues ready because you
will need them.
James has hovered on the edge of the other books in this series.
He’s the self-prescribed family outcast, the black sheep, but we’ve never known
his full story. Moving between the past and present, Dunbar recounts James and
Evie’s story as young couple expecting an unplanned baby through to their six
year estrangement following a personal tragedy.
This story had me engrossed from the start and I loved the
journey these characters take us on. The attraction and love between James and
Evie is evident but they have hit rock bottom, and have stayed there for too
long. I felt Dunbar did marvelous job in opening up James and Evie to us
readers. It’s messy and painful, yet a riveting tale about a grand love.
I highly recommend this book and this series.
